The exhibition presents, starting from the epicentre of Cerveteri, the history, art and culture of a civilization that has developed in the heart of the Mediterranean and forged trade relations all the way to the Middle East. The echo and the complexity of these links are revealed in the rich collection of both manufactured and imported objects that have come to us. The scenographic work, guided by the notions of the place, the fragment and the narrative, tries to give substance to the site of the necropolis of Banditaccia in order to immerse the visitor in an exciting story.
