In the heart of the most emblematic of Venetian palaces, the exhibition offers a journey into the tradition of Indian jewellery from the Mughal period to the present day, through the presentation of exceptional pieces from the Al Thani collection.
The scenography creates a dialogue with the architecture and the decor of the Sala dello Scrutinio, while evocative of India and the splendour of the Maharajas' palaces.
The exhibition plan responds to the layout of the ceiling, a central element, illuminated and enhanced as part of the installation. In its center, a light structure supports thousands of gold drops that shape the silhouette of the imposing doors of the Taj Mahal.
