The central hall of the Palace Museum, nestled in the heart of the Forbidden City, houses more than two hundred exceptional pieces from the Al Thani collection and the Palace Museum collections, offering a unique insight into the tradition of Indian jewellery from the Mughal period to the present day.
The lacquered trays reflect the delicate decorations of the jades, while the cut-out metal screens surround the gems and diamonds and multiply their brilliance.
