Durand-Ruel, The Bet of Impressionism — Musée du Luxembourg, Paris, 2014
READ MORE
The exhibition is built on the balance between presenting some of the most famous paintings of Impressionism and telling a story : the story of Paul Durand-Ruel and how he transformed the art market. The exhibition design proposes to separate the two elements of the exhibition: the paintings are presented on a vertical plane and the story on a horizontal support, on tables that give the narrative a spatial evidence.
