The megapolis of Kinshasa, with its 17 million inhabitants, where most of the artists on display have lived or are still living, is the geographical anchoring of the exhibition. The scenography, purified, timeless and abstract, emphasizes the universality and the momentum of the very strong, colorful and dynamic works, which are presented in an open and luminous space in contact with the outside and the city. Demanding and popular at the same time, the exhibition is structured around the individualities and singular itineraries of the nearly 40 artists presented.
